Google's social network, Google+ has now reached 10 million users. This is small compared to Facebook's 750 million users but Google+ is growing very fast. Google also reported that more then 1 billion items are being shared each day on Google+. I think Google+ will be able to compete and win against Facebook making it the top social network.
Here is a link for 10 reasons why: http://www.tiptoptens.com/2011/07/12/10-reasons-why-google-plus-is-better-than-facebook/
Google's net income has increased significantly as of recently up to 2.5 billion in the second quarter.
Now we just wait for Blogger to switch to Google Blogs and be incorporated into Google+
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried it yet, but I should probably get a testing account to see what it is all about.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's also that Google hasn't opened "free" registration yet ;-)
ReplyDeleteI did get invited, but when I wanted to sign up the servers were crowded, and I didn't really felt like trying again. Perhaps I'll try when you don't need invites anymore.
ReplyDeleteHard to say what will happen. I'm not entirely sure G+ will be something big.
ReplyDelete10 million is a good number for invitation only.
ReplyDeleteGood bye sweet prince (facebook). lol
ReplyDeleteI have a love/hate relationship with Facebook, so its nice to have an alternative. Too bad none of my friends have accepted their invites, so I have noone on there!
ReplyDeletei said id never switch from MySpace to Facebook. then i switched to Facebook. i will never switch to Google+.
ReplyDeleteI think people like the fact that you can do everything with Google (mail,blog,youtube,etc.. now Google+ as well)
ReplyDeleteive been trying to get a google+ but they keep saying the capacity is maxed out, i hope i can get an account soon tho
ReplyDeleteAs someone pointed out part of the reason G+ isn't topping the scales yet is because it isn't publicly available, but unless the friends I have on Facebook go to G+ I really won't care.
ReplyDeleteGoogle is taking over everywhere... they will own your soul soon
ReplyDelete+followed
the only downside to G+ is that it already knows EVERYTHING about you.
ReplyDeleteI have Google+. Never use it. Same crap. Different site
