The Talk: Sexism Disgrace

On the talk show The Talk, the girls had a fun time laughing at a man having is genitalia removed and destroyed in a garbage disposal. There were discussing the recent assault on a man where is penis was cut off and destroyed by Catherine Kieu while laughing practically the whole time yet only one the women actually pointed out what they were doing and that it was wrong. This makes me so mad that a women can say that with no ramifications. There is a double standard for men. I hope that Sharon gets fired or at least have some retort for what has happened. If you want to watch the video and see how terrible it truly is, here is the link:

I also suggest that you should report a complaint to CBS about this sexist show. Here is a link to the feedback form on CBS:

  3. This is pretty infuriating. They're all just laughing as if it was some sort of joke and he'll eventually grow it back like a lizard...

  4. Damn that sounds like the end of the western civilisation if this kinds of shows don't get banned, we can as well give up all hope.
That was no sarcasm. If we have gotten to become that stupid that we find things like that funny, we can as well throw all humanity away, and live like we did 5000 years ago.
This is pretty drastic I know, but I just can't stand such things, just like killing or abusing animals, its just infuriating.

  5. There really is a massive double standard in sexism, but the same can be said of pretty much any "ism", black people can be derogatory about white people, but white people can't. Hmm, wonder if people now think I'm racist because I said that.

  7. as far as im concerned, she will get whats coming to her. she wouldn't make light of the situation if it happened to someone in her family.

  8. Nice blog man, will follow.
And this is really unfair, if you set out for equality, you have to take the "bad" and the "good" from the genders, you can't just take the "good" things to one gender and then say we are equal.

  9. As a woman myself, I am utterly disgusted by these women! How can these women be allowed to laugh about this? How would they feel if a man said this kind of thing about their breasts or about their hair? We would be offended and claim sexism. But these women are getting away with it? The fact that Sharon thinks there is a difference because one is floppy? Seriously? I am glad Sarah Gilbert defended what was right here, but she is obviously the minority in this case. Just listen to the audience howl! UGH...

  11. This show has always been way too obnoxious. Sharon Osborne is a disgrace to society, and the women on this show are often on the wrong side of social issues and make a lot of controversial comments and incite that in their viewers. It sickens me.

  12. This has got to be one of my LEAST favorite aspects of our culture. Double standards are bringing us down.

  13. I agree there is a double standard dealing with this kind of violence. similar to if a man beats his wife thats horrible but if a wife beats her husband thats funny somehow. the only thing that makes me not want to rage super hard on the fact sharron is a ignorant bitch is the fact shes an osborne, and there is no way she stayed out of all those drugs ozzy was doing, just saying. and personally I dont take the opinion of a druggy bitch into account, no matter if she was reformed. Plus shes now getting a whole ton of publicity from it and thats how that family roles, attention is attention weather its good or bad.

  19. I watched this show as it aired, and there was one chick on the panel who stuck up for men and noted the double standard. But Sharon was really out of line for saying that. Followed.
